Homer and Jethro HOMERS
Bart Simpson
& OTHER WAYS TO SCORE
Homer statue

Is Godzilla Japanese?

Although it may sound Greek to you, a HOMER is any word play that we have not already categorized. This kind of play on words, words on plays, etc., has been called everything from Spoonerisms, to Medical Greeks, to Metathesis, to Pennsylvania Dutch's, to infinity, to ad infinitum.

The next several web pages contain a whole gang (BUTCH CASSIDY) of different types of HOMERS. And on the next SUNday, DANCE your way through these, KID. Read them as your own leisure suit's you. In a HOMER, all of the bases must be touched, (as in the head) before you can score. Hopefully we won't be thrown out at the plate. Think to catch them all.
