Bill Gate as te devil
Johnny "Cache" sings and geeks his way into your hearts using Kris Kristofferson's
(Janis Joplin) Me and Bobby McGee as the basis for telling the inside story of Billy Gate.

ME AND BILLY G.
Lyrics by DoubleTake (Dave Hage and Dennis Hage)
based on "Me and Bobbie McGee" written by Kris Kristofferson
(sung by Johnny Cache)

INTRO (talking):
Hello I’m Johnny Cache, spelled CA..CHE, that’s a computer term,
it means something, but I’m not just sure what,
Anyway, a lot of people don’t know it, but I’ve been a computer nerd for a long time
So I thought I’d take this song that my friend Kris Kristofferson wrote a long time ago,
and use it to tell you the story (BEVERLY HILLBILLYISH) about Bill Gates,
the III that is, you know swimming pools, movie stars, the new 6 million dollar man,
that’s right, Superman the one that owns us all, but we just don’t know it yet.
Anyway, it kinda goes like this, and I hope Janis doesn’t turn over in her grave…

VERSE
Busted flat in cyberspace, surfing on the Net,
feeling nearly fragmented as my drive
Remembering how young Billy G (Gates that is),
got us all in debt,
and took us all the way to Windows 95

I took my software out of my dirty cardboard box ,
and was looking the other way when Billy sank big blue
Window wiper was grabbing  time,
shaken hands and buying what used to be mine,
finally bought up just about everything in view

CHORUS
MICROSOFT’S JUST ANOTHER WORD FOR MONOPOLY
WINDOWS AIN’T WORTH NOTHING AND IT SURE AIN’T FREE
JUST DOING GOOD ENOUGH WAS EASY LORD, WHEN BILLY SANK  BIG BLUE,
AND DOING JUST GOOD ENOUGH WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME,
JUST GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME AND BILLY G

From the molded minds of Harvard to the valley of the silicon,
Billie kept the secrets he thought and  stole,
Paul Allen stood beside the devil
through everything he done,
with every price hike they’d add up their golden tolls

Then somewhere near Redmond, IBM let it slip away,
looking for a system it’d never find
And I’d trade all my crashes for a
single yesterday,
of not having to listen to poor old Billy whine

CHORUS
MICROSOFT’S JUST ANOTHER WORD FOR MONOPOLY
NOTHING LEFT IS ALL HE LEFT FOR YOU AND ME
JUST DOING GOOD ENOUGH WAS EASY LORD, WHEN BILLY SANK  BIG BLUE
AND DOING JUST GOOD ENOUGH WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME,
JUST GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME AND BILLY G
