MOON

Visions of the future past, did they happen first or last?
In a world made of sand, knew that destiny was at hand.
He was born a sheik, a son, a mother witch from who they'd run, in fear.

Treachery and hate combined, forced this young child to find.
On the desert to which he fled, avenge his father left for dead.
Made his home and met his mate, always trying to escape, his mind.

So he waited out his time, searched the sky for the signs.
Birds and beasts and desert lore, became the master of the sword.
And he conquered the light the way, from the valleys to the days, of night.

CHORUS
Oh moon, you know you guide my motions.
Like a monsoon burning in my brain.
          (sandstorm  blowing, hurricane running)
Will the light that is the magic potion.
Teach me or drive me insane?
